Who We Are

 

The Seattle Woodturners is a local chapter of the American Association of Woodturners (AAW), an organization that promotes woodturning through sharing, education, information, outreach, community, and inspiration. Since 1987, our club has served woodturners in the greater Seattle area, including King County and beyond. We are all-volunteer, self-funding, and registered with the IRS as a non-profit 501(c)(3).

With 200+ members, we are a friendly and diverse group that includes both novice and experienced woodturners with a broad range of interests as well as professional turners and published authors who generously share their expertise. Our leadership team guides, shapes and establishes priorities for the club according to our By-Laws.
