About this event
We're preparing for spring and showing
Pratt Fine Arts Center some gratitude for sharing their space with our Women in Turning group. Join us as we hone our skew skills and practice working in series by making garden dibbers, a tool used in seed planting. Any extra garden dibbers created by participants during this turning session will be donated to Pratt for use as VIP gifts in their
upcoming spring auction this May.
Pratt/WIT will supply the group with blanks and sandpaper. You just need to bring your tools and safety gear:
-Skew
-Parting tool
-Any other relevant turning tools (optional)
-Burning wire (optional)
-Face shield
-Dust mask
-Handsaw (optional)
*While WIT events are intended to increase the number of women in woodturning, they are open to all members of the Seattle Woodturners club and the public alike! Consider joining in and bringing along a friend :)

All studio users are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all times by observing and complying with the following:

-Possession of weapons
-Discrimination or harassment based on race, color, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, political ideology, age, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, or presence of sensory, mental or physical disability.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation policy: A full refund will be granted when cancellation is made more than two weeks prior to the event. There will be a 50% refund for cancellations made one to two weeks prior to the event. Cancellations made less than one week prior to the event will not be refunded.
