CANCELLED - WIT - Wig Stand Project Workshop

Let's share our methods, skills and creativity! Join Women in Turning (WIT) in making wig stands in support of The Wig Stand Project, a national WIT initiative. This project supplies wig stands to folks in the community impacted by hair loss related to cancer treatment at no expense to recipients. Our club will be partnering with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, a local nonprofit and research center that provides cancer care for UW Medicine as well as a free wig program for its patients.

Materials & Tools:

Any species of dry wood will work for this project. It can be solid or glued up. Bring material for all of the parts, or just work on a piece of a stand. Every bit helps!
